The Jordan Chiovarelli Foundation has been established to provide financial assistance to help defray the costs of training, travel, registration fees, and general living expenses for the competitive freestyle skiers here in the United States. The Foundation will be a way for the memory of Jordan, who loved the sport, to continue to be there for others, to help those in need. In memory of his legacy, and in the spirit of kindness and hope, for those athletes less fortunate, the Jordan Chiovarelli Foundation will grant scholarship funds for the purpose of helping other athletes achieve their dreams.
On a more personal note:
As many of you know, Jordan enjoyed life, and lived it with a gusto that was admired by all who knew him. His wonderful smile and happy attitude were contagious to all he encountered. He was always there for friends and family. Jordan possessed this uncanny ability to easily make friends, and enjoyed each and every one of them wherever he happened to be, and wherever he traveled. The Foundation will be a vehicle to carry Jordan's spirit and memory forward, and to keep him alive in our hearts and minds.
